About This Role

FiberPro is seeking a Receiving/Supply Supervisor to manage handling/receiving materials, including steel, and supply room processes, including inventory, for our manufacturing facility in Hot Springs, AR.

Work Environment — This position operates in a large manufacturing facility with a 2-story professional office attached. Office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, fax machines, filing cabinets, etc. will be used. Must be able to pass forklift training.

Physical Demands — Employees are required to climb stairs, stand, walk, talk, hear, use hands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to pass forklift training. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

Travel — Not required.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications — Pre-Employment drug screening, pre-employment background, credit and MVR checks are required and must be passed. Negative drug screen required, no exceptions!

Required Qualifications

  • Supervision experience preferred. This is an active, hands-on role that also oversees a small team.
  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility is required. This position works on the production floor with only the supply office being HVAC controlled.
  • Ability to manage the flow of materials and supplies through the shop and create new processes for better efficiency.
  • Responsible for receiving all material and supplies delivered to the shop, including handling steel.
  • Will be required at times to operate a forklift and overhead cranes to move material, including steel, and to unload/load trucks. Must be able to pass our forklift training.
  • Responsible for checking supplies in/out of inventory and tracking usage.
  • Responsible for tracking inventory levels and coordinating with other departments to ensure that all materials are ordered and received in a timely manner.
  • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Willingness to learn our ERP system for inventory control. Previous ERP experience preferred.
